My first Nebraska Milky Way of 2022, at Crystal Lake, near Ayr, Nebraska. It's always nice to have Milky Way season return each year! While parts are visible year-round, it's the bright galactic core that hides from us in the northern hemisphere for most of the winter. Here it is rising in the SE sky a couple hours before sunrise.
